Post a comment to this article when you receive your Demigod preorder in the mail.  Those who preordered the game before the last beta closed on February 26th will get their copies first.  Any orders placed after that were just charged over the weekend and are still in the shipping process, so please hold tight for those.  You can download while you wait!

We use USPS Priority Mail for orders being shipped to a location in the US, which usually takes 3-5 business days.  For orders going outside of the US, we use International First Class mail, which takes 1-3 weeks.

If people in your area seem to be receiving their games but you aren't, you might want to check if your package is being held at your local post office.  We sometimes receive returned packages marked "unclaimed" by the postal service.

Happy downloading!

finally got mine today, ordered it on the 13th! took long enough! and my rook flag was bent  but hes still awesome!

I was in the beta, however I only ordered the digital copy of Demigod. Will I still receive the infamous Rook, or is this a boxed version exclusive? If the latter is true, is there anyway I can possibly upgrade to the boxed version and still receive the goodies that go with the collector's edition?

The statue only comes with the CE box. You will be able to update to the boxed version at a later date.

Ok, just got mine from the post office.  Apparently there has been a rash of people following posties and nicking parcels left behind if a house is unoccupied, so they're told "if in doubt, bring it back and have the recipient collect".  Pretty good policy.

So anyway, your computers managed to chop off half my street name, so I'm quite lucky I'm in a small enough country that the suburb and the first 5 characters of the street name (all that was left) are sufficient for the postal service to find the place, so you might want to look into your address printing system to make sure that it lets you fit in all the letters that your order form lets you enter

Rook is slightly bent, but that's apparently a given for everyone.

Also, why do Take Two attach a second serial number to the box that doesn't match the one that I got from Impulse?

Because there is no way to sync the two, so they don't even try.

Thanks for the response, any word on when that date will be, HM?

on May 04, 2009

No, they haven't given a date. Just keep watching the forums. They'll do it; they did it for Sins of a Solar Empire.

Here's the upgrade page we've all been waiting for:
http://www.demigodthegame.com/upgrade/

Log in with your Impulse account and you'll be able to get the CE box for $5 plus shipping.  If you already have the download-only version, of course.

Ordered it on release day, now I got a notice it's down at the post office.

Unfortunately it's been tolled to the same amount it cost me to get.
